In an exclusive interview with Forbes, Flappy Bird developer Dong Nguyen has revealed the real reason he removed the extremely popular app from the App Store and the Google Play Store. According to Nguyen, the game’s addictiveness is what convinced him to remove it, and the app is not coming back. “Flappy Bird was designed to play in a few minutes when you are relaxed,” the developer said “But it happened to become an addictive product. I think it has become a problem. To solve that problem, it’s best to take down Flappy Bird. It’s gone forever.” Nguyen, who has other popular games in the iOS store, denied receiving any threats from Nintendo, and said that wasn’t the reason he removed the app, adding that in case any of his games becomes equally addictive as Flappy Bird, he will not hesitate to also pull them from stores. In addition to guilt related to Flappy Bird’s addictiveness, Nguyen says his life was not “as comfortable as I was before,” and that he couldn’t sleep because of the app. Thus, removing the app isn’t a mistake according to him, as he has “thought it through.” Nguyen’s increased popularity may have indeed become a burden for the developer. Forbes reveals that he agreed to talk to the publication only on condition that photos of him would not be shown, and then was delayed as the developer met with Vietnam’s deputy prime minister Vu Duc Dam on the same day. Recent reports revealed that Nguyen has received death threats for pulling the app. The app developer would not confirm how much money he made with Flappy Bird, although some estimates say he may have collected as much as $50,000 per day from ads – the app was available as a free download – and said he would continue to develop games. Hello people, Welcome. This is Tanay Agarwal. So, today we will learn how to fix the md5 mismatch error on Samsung galaxy y.
When do we get an md5 mismatch error?
Its just an simple error which occurs when you try to restore or flash stock rom on your android device via system recovery.
So, when this error occurs your installation process will be aborted and cannot proceed further. And if you are stuck with the error, then do not panic. There is a very simple process with which you can fix this error.
Please follow the following instructions carefully.
Step 1) Open root browser. (Any browser you prefer).
Step 2) Now locate the clockworkmod file on your sd card.
Step 3) Open the clockworkmod folder and click on backup and then click on Ddle 1.
Step 4) Now you will see that there are few files in your Ddle 1 folder. Among which you will see a file called nandroid.md5.
Step 5) Now delete this file i.e. nandroid.md5 and create a new file with the same name.
NOTE: Please do not try to rename or edit any of the files except nandroid.md5. If you try to do it then you will end up with a bricked device.
So, this is how you fix the md5 mismatch error on samsung galaxy y. This will also work on other android devices depending upon the clockworkmod file. But for now lets keep it till Samsung galaxy y.

Hello guys, this is Tanay Agarwal and today you will learn how to flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy y without using odin. I found most of the people complaining that odin is not detecting their device. This might be due to several reasons such as:-- 1) You do not have the proper drivers for your device installed in your computer. 2) Do check the USB debugging mode in your device. To do so go to
Setting-->Applications-->Development-->USB debugging. If you still face trouble flashing the stock rom, then their is another easy way of doing it and it is via Android system recovery.
All you need to do is to download two files.
1) Skin1980-GT-S5360+CWM.zip, file size will be around 1.34MB.
2) Clockworkmod(ZIP file), file size will be around 123MB.
You will find the download link at the end of the post.
So now lets get onto the track. Carefully follow the steps below and you will be done.
Step 1) Extract the Clockworkmod(ZIP) (123MB) file, you will get a folder with same name as the zip file now paste it in your SD card.
Step 2) Now paste the Skin1980-GT-S5360+CWM.zip (1.34MB) file in your SD card.
NOTE: Please do not paste these two files in any folders.
Step 3) Turn off your phone and boot into recovery. Press and hold Volume up+Home key+Power button together.
Step 4) Select apply update from sd card
Step 5) Now select Skin1980-GT-S5360+CWM.zip
Step 6) Select wipe data/reset.
Step 7) Select cache partition.
Step 8) Select backup and restore.
Step 9) Select Restore.
Step 10) Select Ddle 1.
Step 11) Select Yes - Restore.
Step 12) Wait for the installation process to complete.
Step 13) Select Reboot System now.
If you have followed the all the above steps correctly then you will end with a fresh and fine stock rom. MOST IMPORTANT: If you are in custom kernel then do not try this method because it wont't work. First flash stock kernel and then proceed.
